GUS's Story

Meet Gus ✨
If chaos had a heartbeat... it would probably be named Gus.

Gus is a 10-month-old Mini Aussie–Poodle mix weighing about 12 pounds, and he is basically a tiny comedian with a motor that never quite learned the meaning of “off.” He’s adventurous, athletic, clever, curious, enthusiastic, goofy, quirky, snuggly, and deeply committed to the belief that treats are not optional—they are a lifestyle.

This little guy doesn’t just play... he commits. He runs, he zooms, he invents games, and then he doubles back to make sure you saw the whole performance. Toys? Yes. Balls? Absolutely. Sticks? Also yes, even if they were not invited. Gus treats every moment like it might turn into something exciting, because in his world, it usually does.

Food-motivated is an understatement. Gus would very much like to report that snack time is continuous and ideally uninterrupted. Luckily, that drive makes him incredibly smart—he’s already mastered going to his crate, sitting, and waiting like a polite little gentleman... at least until the next treat opportunity presents itself.

He’s wonderful with kids and other dogs, and he genuinely lights up when he has a playmate. Gus is the kind of pup who turns a backyard into a playground and a quiet afternoon into a comedy show. He’s energetic, silly, and endlessly entertaining—but when the fun slows down, he leans into his people with that soft, loyal side that says, “Okay... I’m done being ridiculous. Where are you sitting?”

Gus is crate trained, potty trained, leash walking, and housetrained. But more importantly, he’s life-trained in the art of making you laugh when you least expect it.

If you’re looking for a best friend who is part athlete, part genius, part goofball, and 100% heart—Gus is ready to make your life a whole lot more fun. 💛
