Meet Gus
This is Gus! Gus came to us a little nervous about his new surroundings, but adapted quickly to our home and has grown into a curious and hilarious pup, super eager and ready to learn.
He's incredibly food motivated and has learned sit and space commands for entering for his kennel in the blink of an eye.
He is working on kennel training, and we think would greatly benefit from someone willing to continue this. He likes the structure and routine of his kennel, and knows that is where he gets fed and gets treats! Yay!
He is an active guy, and as he grows, he'd love someone who can take him on walks daily or spend time at the park, go on hikes, or other fun activities. He needs a lifestyle that will keep him active so that he can be his best and rest well when he's at home.
Though he is definitely an active and excitable puppy, He has a very relaxed and submissive nature and looks to us (humans) for direction. He is very intuitive and always willing to match your energy.
He is great with other dogs and is very sweet with kids. He will need someone who can give him the attention and exercise he needs but once tuckered out, Gus is a Master Cuddler and Certified Nap specialist.
As Gus was shy when first coming to our home, he may do similarly at first but will BLOOM very quickly given all the positive attention, silly voices, and pets.
He is a loyal companion and will strive to impress you and show you all the love he can. He really just wants to be your favorite guy!
