Gus's Story

MEET GUS!

French Bulldog | Professional Snuggler | Part-Time House Pig

If you've ever wanted an adorable little house pig who happens to be disguised as a French Bulldog, Gus is your guy.

Gus is an incredibly lovable little character who gets along beautifully with men, women, children, and dogs of all sizes. He's an easygoing boy who is happiest when he can find a good lap, settle in, and soak up all the cuddles you're willing to give him.

And like any proper Frenchie, Gus comes with his own soundtrack. He snorkels, snorts, grumbles, and makes the funniest little noises that will keep you smiling. He has a big personality packed into that compact little body.

Gus also enjoys spending time outside when the weather is mild, exploring and hanging out with his people. But at heart, he's definitely a "where are my humans and where is my comfy spot?" kind of guy.

Because Gus is a French Bulldog, we would especially love to see him with someone who understands the breed or is willing to learn about their specific needs. Gus has a tendency to inhale his food and water rather than consume them like a civilized gentleman, so his new family will need to be mindful of how he eats and drinks and help him slow things down.

Other than his complete lack of table manners, Gus is a pretty easy boy to love.

Great with adults

Great with children

Great with dogs of all sizes

Champion cuddler

Loves a good lap

Enjoys mild-weather outdoor time

Makes excellent Frenchie sound effects

Approximately 70% dog, 30% house pig, 100% lovable

Gus is looking for a family who will appreciate his goofy personality, his snuggly nature, and everything that makes a Frenchie a Frenchie.

Coastal Pet Rescue's Adoption Policy
All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected). Out of Area Coastal Pet Rescue does not ship or "transport" animals out of area. All adopters must be available to come to Savannah, GA to complete the adoption after approval. Microchip: CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf. Adoption Fees: Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
