Gus is a friendly young adult dog that is 15 lbs. He gets along with other dogs, but would be fine as a single dog. He was an owner surrender when his owner did not have time for him anymore. He has been around kids and has been great with them. He is pretty chill, calm, outgoing, and likes to cuddle. He is around 2 years old. Your fee covers the significant costs of bringing them to safety. Your adoption fee covers: spay/neuter (if old enough), transport fees getting the dogs from Texas to our fosters homes here (that ALONE is $200-$230 per dog), core vaccines, heartworm test (If old enough), deworming, and microchip. <br/><br/>We partner with VCA Animal Hospitals. With every adoption comes a complimentary First Exam at any participating VCA location within the first 14 days of adoption. Follow-up Care Coverage: VCA provides limited health guarantee coverage (up to $250) for specific minor illnesses (like kennel cough or ear infections) diagnosed during that initial 14-day window.<br/> <br/>We do not guarantee the breed of any of our dogs or how big they will be when they are fully grown. The breed listed is typically a guess based off of appearance or personality traits. We cannot guarantee that any dog is not mixed with pit. This is a standard part of adopting a dog from rescue. <br/><br/>We do not have a foster to adopt program nor can we allow adoption trials. Our insurance does not allow it. If you're are interested in fostering there is a separate foster application, but you would only be able to foster dogs that are not currently in a foster home.
