Gunther is being fostered in Wichita, KS, however, transport is available for Adoptions within MARR's coverage area.<br/>Gunther is friendly, playful, bright, alert and responsive. He came in as a stray but has blossomed while in foster care. He is very docile and sweet, he just wants to be next to you! He loves getting pet and will come up and rub his head into your lap. This Good Boy loves playing with all types of toys, especially balls. If the toys squeak, Gunther will moo like a cow the entire time they are squeaking! Gunther enjoys Kongs with frozen yogurt inside and shows no food aggression. He can be hand-fed, and he takes treats gently but be ready, he is very quick to take a treat from your hand!<br/>Gunther gets along well with his female, adult Foster and has had great interactions with his neighbor’s 4-year-old son. He is very aloof with other dogs and does not demand they play with him, respecting their boundaries. He has only been around another large, female dog while in Foster care, but we feel he should do well with other calm dogs with proper introductions. He has not been around cats so how he does with them is unknown.<br/>Gunther is crate trained, he knows sit and come and is treat-motivated which will be helpful with future training. His docile nature and sweet personality will make him an ideal new member of any Rottie savvy home!
