Gunner's Story

Gunner is the sweetest little guy with the most beautiful bright blue eyes. He’s playful and loves having fun, but he’s just as happy being snuggled up with his people. His foster describes him as a “sweet little old man” in a puppy body, and we think that says it perfectly.

Gunner is already doing amazing with his routine. He sleeps in his kennel at night with his favorite toys and blankies, usually waking up just once for a potty break. He’s also learning the doggy door and has been doing great with potty training!

He’s affectionate, playful, snuggly, and pretty darn adorable. If you’re looking for a puppy who will play with you and then happily curl up for a long nap in your arms, Gunner might just be your boy.

He will be just shy of 13 weeks old when he arrives.

603 Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy
603 Canine Rescue is committed to thoughtful, individualized adoptions rather than first-come, first-served placements. Prospective adopters complete a detailed application, provide personal and veterinary references (when applicable), and participate in an interview to help us understand their lifestyle, experience, and what they are looking for in a companion. We review each application to determine the best match based on the dog's needs, personality, and the adopter's home environment. Approved adopters must agree to provide appropriate veterinary care, keep the dog as an indoor family companion, comply with all applicable local laws, and return the dog to 603 Canine Rescue if they are ever unable to keep it. Our goal is to create safe, lasting placements that are in the best interest of both the dog and the adopting family.
