Guenter Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Pembroke, MA

Guenter is a fun, playful dude seeking an equally minded owner. He would love a home with someone looking for an active companion or who is interested in trying out some dog sports for fun! He won't be content occupying himself, he wants to build a bond with his person and engage with them. Get him playing and personality really starts to come out - he's super goofy with lots of play bows and hip checks!

Once his exercise needs are met, Guenter has a great off switch in the house. That being said, he could use some continued training for manners and obedience - he can get a little jumpy and nippy when excited - so older kids would be best for now. Guenter is okay with other dogs, but does need some guidance as he can be a bit pushy. He is learning to respect body language and social cues, so slow introductions are best to set him up for the most success. He has not been tested with cats.

Approximately 2.5-3.5 years old and 50lbs, Guenter is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations/preventatives, house broken and crate trained. He is being fostered in Marshfield MA and needs to meet his potential family prior to adoption to ensure a great match.
