We think Gucci has already made his career choice!<br/><br/>A Professional Cuddle Buddy!<br/><br/>Gucci's absolute favorite activity is climbing into someone's lap with a toy, getting comfortable, and staying there for as long as possible.<br/><br/>And when we say long, we mean LONG!<br/><br/>Gucci will happily cuddle in someone's lap for hours if they'll let him!<br/><br/>He also loves snuggling underneath blankets, being carried around, and watching TV with his people.<br/><br/>Apparently, Gucci has decided that walking is optional when someone is willing to provide first-class transportation!<br/><br/>And if he grows into a much bigger dog?<br/><br/>Well, that's a problem for future Gucci.<br/><br/>In Gucci's world, lapdog is a personality trait, not a size category!<br/><br/>Playful, Gentle & Happy-Go-Lucky!<br/><br/>Gucci is still a young puppy, but his foster expects him to have a low-to-medium energy level as he matures.<br/><br/>He enjoys playing with toys, chewing bones, exploring, and spending time with other dogs.<br/><br/>He's curious, friendly, and loves meeting new people.<br/><br/>His foster says:<br/><br/>"He's loved everyone and every dog he's met so far."<br/><br/>Gucci is generally immediately friendly and greets people happily.<br/><br/>He's also food and toy motivated, which will be helpful as he begins learning basic obedience.<br/><br/>Of course, Gucci has a little puppy personality!<br/><br/>Sometimes he has selective hearing, especially when something more interesting catches his attention.<br/><br/>Apparently, listening is optional when you're busy being adorable!<br/><br/>Potty Training, Crate Training & Puppy Manners<br/><br/>Gucci is still a baby, so his training journey is just beginning.<br/><br/>Potty Training: His foster reports little to no accidents when following a consistent routine. He's not yet fully house trained and will need continued training.<br/><br/>Crate Training: Gucci is just beginning crate training and will need help learning that his crate is a comfortable, positive place.<br/><br/>Leash Manners: Still a work in progress! Gucci can pull on the leash and needs continued practice.<br/><br/>Puppy Mouthiness: Like many puppies, Gucci can be mouthy during play and will need gentle redirection to appropriate toys.<br/><br/>Basic Obedience: Formal training hasn't started yet. Gucci will benefit from positive reinforcement, patience, and consistency.<br/><br/>He'll also need continued socialization with new environments and opportunities to develop confidence and independence.<br/><br/>Gucci may love being someone's baby, but he'll still need guidance to become a well-mannered grown-up dog!<br/><br/>Dogs, Cats & Kids<br/><br/>Dogs: Gucci LOVES other dogs! He's enjoyed every dog he's met so far and could be a wonderful addition to a home with another compatible canine companion.<br/><br/>Cats: Gucci hasn't been tested enough with cats to confirm compatibility. His foster believes he may do well, but introductions should be gradual and supervised.<br/><br/>Kids: Gucci LOVES children! He's affectionate, friendly, and enjoys attention from people of all ages.
