Gucci

Gucci has the look!

His story - He was adopted about 6 years ago and recently returned when a baby was born into his family. The baby reached toddler stage and started acting as toddlers do and the relationship between Gucci and toddler was not working out.

Many of us at This is the Dog! have had babies grow up with dogs. It takes training and discipline for both dog and child. We truly believe that the relationship between a child and dog is like no other. It takes work at the beginning to make sure both are safe, but what blossoms is an unconditional love and bond that is very special.

Gucci was returned to us and now we are getting to know him again. He is with a foster couple that only has doggie kids and kitty cats. We think this is best at this point in Gucci's life that he finds his forever home without young children around. His nickname is SPEEDBUMP. He is very happy and jumps and spins every time he sees John, his human foster dod. He also does these tricks for treats. There are cats in the house as well as other dogs and Gucci does not bother the cats. He pretty much minds his business and does his business outside. The transition to being comfortable in a new place took a few weeks but now Gucci has settled and we are ready to find him a forever home where he will be loved and cared for,

A lifetime commitment is what Gucci needs.

Thank you for considering a rescued dog/cat from This Is The Dog!.
