This Is The Dog!

We are an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization based in Homestead, Florida, dedicated to ending the dog and cat overpopulation crisis in Miami-Dade County. Our mission focuses heavily on proactive community solutions, including grant-funded free spay and neuter support, managing Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) programs for community cats, and running a pet food pantry to support pet retention. Through our out-of-area adoptions, strategic rescue partnerships, and lifesaving animal transports to New England, our volunteers work tirelessly to provide homeless dogs and cats, and unwanted community pets, a second chance at life—all made possible by the support from individual donations.
