VIP: Grizzly is a smart boy who is about 15 months of age. He is housetrained and knows the commands sit, stay, come, lie down, shake and stand up. Grizzly is good with other dogs and will need a home without cats. He is curious, sweet and well mannered around children and just loves chew toys, balls and stuffed animals! He would probably do well as your new running or walking buddy since he walks well on a leash and has energy to spare and will be best in a single family home (no apartments.) He likes to have a buddy with him when he is outside so they can have fun and play. He is a wonderful dog who needs to find his perfect match! <br/><br/>Adopted animals are not able to go to their new home until spay and neuter surgery has been done. <br/>Adoptions are first come first serve, and no appointment or application is needed. Plano Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Adoptions are first come first serve. There is no application. Anyone over 18 years of age is eligible to adopt provided that they meet the adoption criteria for that specific animal. Criteria can range from having basic knowledge of the animal’s species or breed, having an established veterinary history, not having young children, the animal being legal to own in the city they live in, the breed they’re interested in being accepted at their apartments, etc. If a potential adopter doesn’t meet the criteria in place for that animal, they will be encouraged to look at other animals that may not have those restrictions in place. The criteria must also be met in order to visit with an animal.
