Grits's Story

Grits - Maltese/Shih Tzu - Female - 1.5 yrs - www.twyla.org

If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org

Meet Grits, this ADORABLE pint sized little girl with a 5 gallon sized personality! Gritz is about 1 1/2-2 years old and most likely a mix of Maltese and 100% cuteness overload! Grits is a confident little girl and moved right into her foster home like she’s been there her whole life. There are 4 other dogs in the home and Gris gets along with everyone and loves all the humans she meets.

Grits loves toys of all kinds especially ones that crinkle and squeak. And she LOVES food! She never met a food or treat she didn’t like and even loves the treats the dogs in her foster home turn their noses up to like apples!

Grits is looking for a home with another playful dog in it for her to play with and/or active older kids. Size of other dogs matters less than play compatibility, this girl is looking for entertainment! Because she is so little and fast, a home with older children would be best. She is house trained and crate trained and rides well in the car.

Get your application in quick if you think you are the perfect forever home for this sweet girl!

***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
