Griffon Wirehaired Pointing Griffon & Australian Shepherd Mix Baltimore, MD

Mr. Griff is a 2-year old Wirehaired Pointing Griffon with possibly Australian Shepherd mix who weighs around 30 pounds. He may have been born with no tail or it was docked very short. Not sure what happened but he has no tail. But that doesn't stop him wagging his whole behind when he is happy. ?

Griffon is neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccines and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. He is one lucky pup to have survived distemper when he was just a little puppy with the devoted care of his Mom. He was adopted from a shelter in Southern Texas.

Griffon is a super love-bug and likes to be with his humans.
He loves to go on car rides and the ladies at Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts love him. They say he looks like a "little ole man" with his silver coat. Griffon has the most soulful eyes that will grab your attention.

Griffon may do best as an only dog in the home, and with older children. He appears to be intimidated by larger dogs as he and one of the large Shepherds that was added to the family keep getting into scuffles. He has lived with the other 4 dogs peacefully and even plays with them.

Mr. Griff is very low maintenance and easy to please. He loves to be around people and be part of their life.
A dog trainer who worked with him says he is extremely smart and learns quickly. So teaching him tricks should be a lot of fun.
He is really a good boy!
This cutie pie doesn't even mind being dressed up for holidays!

Griffon enjoys having his ears brushed each morning and being groomed regularly. No wonder he is such a handsome fella.

If we are able to get him cleared off the waiting list with transport he will arrive in Maryland on 2/19, otherwise he will arrive on 3/5.
