He looks like a large Yorkie with long legs. He's sweet, gentle, playful and dog friendly around other friendly dogs. He has a soft coat and does not shed much at all. Griffin was picked up by SF animal control, tied to a fence at a cleared out homeless encampment. It is assumed he lived in the encampment. He is doing well in his crate and with potty training and enjoys playing with his toys and getting snuggles from his foster mom. He's a good boy with a sweet disposition. He can be a little shy around new people but he has really come out of his shell in foster and has gained more and more confidence every day. He loves his walks, is good in the car and would make a great hiking buddy as he has some energy to burn.

Griffin would be fine as an only dog or as a playmate for another young friendly playful dog. He is fostered with several other dogs of various ages and sizes and is fine with all of them. He is not fond of cats though.

If you are interested in learning more about him, please fill out our application on the link above and a volunteer will reach out shortly
