Gretchen's Story

Meet Gretchen!

Gretchen is a 7-year-old Pomsky weighing 18 pounds who is ready to find a patient and understanding family of her own. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and her adoption fee is $300.

Gretchen came to rescue from a commercial breeding program and is still learning what it means to be a beloved house pet. While she may be shy and cautious at first, there is a sweet and gentle soul waiting to blossom with the right family.

One thing Gretchen knows for sure is that she loves other dogs. She gains confidence from her canine companions and truly thrives in their company. When she thinks no one is watching, her playful personality shines through—she loves toys, enjoys romping around with her dog friends, rolling happily on freshly cleaned bedding, and quietly observing the world around her.

Gretchen is looking for a calm home that will move at her pace and celebrate the small victories along the way. She will need time before she feels safe enough to seek out affection, but with patience, consistency, and understanding, she has all the potential to become a wonderful companion.

If you have a kind heart, a peaceful home, and perhaps a friendly dog to show her the ropes, Gretchen would love the chance to finally experience the life every dog deserves.
