Greta's Story

Available in Denver!

Greta is the most gentle soul. She is 2-3 years old and past all the puppy crazies. She is a rat terrier/chihuahua mix - but she is on the bigger side coming in at 24 pounds.

She is a very sweet and timid girl. Her initial response is to pancake when she is in an uncomfortable situation. Though, she is always sweet and gentle. We have been working with her on going on more and more outings and she is doing better and better and finally starting to feel like she isn’t going to be abandoned again. Greta loves her crate and her dog beds. She has been perfect housebroken in her foster home. She has learned how comfy the sofa is and how nice the cuddles can be. She likes to be as close as she can be to you and very often greets you with a hug and placing her head on your shoulder. You can tell she is so thankful she was rescued and is safe. She was found roaming the streets in New Mexico and is so content to be in a home and not looking for her meals in the garbage. Greta is great with other dogs, cats, and dog friendly kids. The chihuahua in her foster home is only 4 pounds and they get along great. She is the absolute sweetest dog who deserves her forever. She would be fine as a single dog or with other dogs.

If interested in Greta, please send in an application as the first step www.soardogs.org or feel free to reach out with any questions.
