Gremlin's Story

Gremlin (aka "Gremalicious," "Gremmy")<br/><br/>Meet Gremlin, a gentle, loving, and precious two-year-old who weighs eight pounds! He's low energy and deeply people-oriented — a little timid at first in new situations, but once he warms up, his sweet, gentle personality really shines. He just needs a bit of time and space to feel comfortable, and he's already making great strides getting more confident with new faces and furry friends alike.<br/><br/>He's totally relaxed when left alone, happily napping without any worries. He's wee-wee pad trained and getting more familiar with going outdoors, crate trained, and growing more comfortable on the leash with daily walks.<br/><br/>Gremlin's days are full of morning cuddles, walks, relaxing naps, and lots of affection — he loves human touch more than almost anything.<br/><br/>Gremlin would thrive with a patient, devoted adopter who can give him time to build confidence in his new home. He'd do well as an only dog or with another pup, and he's a great apartment fit in a calm to moderate household. As a hairless breed, his ideal adopter should be familiar with — or open to learning — the unique care hairless dogs need.<br/><br/>**What his foster says about him:**<br/>"I absolutely adore Gremlin and his calm, loving personality. He gives the best cuddles and although he can not tell you, he makes it known how much he loves you. He makes a great companion for someone who wants a pocket dog that they can bring everywhere."<br/><br/>**INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?**<br/>To adopt apply on our website [www.truenorthrescue.org/adopt](https://www.truenorthrescue.org/adopt) and email adopt@truenorthrescue.org to follow up on your application.<br/><br/>PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL TO ASK IF HE/SHE IS AVAILABLE. IF THIS LISTING IS UP, THE DOG IS NOT ADOPTED YET.<br/><br/>Also, we have a very high volume of applications and we are all volunteers. We cannot respond to every application personally. Please make sure your application gives us a good picture of your family and the life you plan on providing a dog from our rescue. We choose a home based on the BEST FIT for EACH dog and approve on a dog by dog basis. Thank you!

True North Pet Rescue Mission's Adoption Policy
First Step: Submit Your Application True North does not issue blanket approvals, we consider the needs of each specific dog when reviewing applications. If you don't have a specific dog in mind when applying, please note this on your application so that we can keep this in mind when reviewing. We require home photos for all applicants, but can accept a video replacement. Please enter as much detail as possible on your application, this helps us better understand what you are looking for and how this relates to the needs of the dog you have applied for. For puppies under 12 weeks, we require a care plan. This includes a plan for when the dog will be left alone, as puppies younger than 12 weeks should not be left alone longer than 2-3 hours at a time. Please Note: Due to the high volume of applications we receive, it is not always possible to reply to everyone. If your application is approved, you can expect the following. Second Step: Application Review & Approval 1. If your application is approved, an email will be sent connecting you with the dog's current foster. At this time, you may schedule a mutually convenient time to meet. 2. After meeting, you have 24 hours to confirm if you would like to move forward with finalizing the adoption. After this, if we have not heard from you, we will begin scheduling other meets. 3. If you choose to finalize, we will issue an adoption contract via email. Once the signed agreement has been electronically returned along with the adoption fee (which will be disclosed prior to adopting), you will be all set to coordinate for pick-up with the foster! Adoption Fees: Our adoption fees are comparable to those found amongst other well-known rescues in the city. We only accept electronic payments for adoption fees.
