Gregory

Gregory isn't quite ready for adoption yet but he will be soon! Would love to find an adopter who would like to be a part of his training process. He had a 92 year old owner who had dementia and ended up falling and sadly had to go into hospice care. Gregory hasn't been very well socialized so although he is very sweet he is also nervous of new people. He loves other dogs and will get playful with them but he can be nervous greeting and being handled by new people. His adopter should be a patient person who would like to introduce him to the world in a happy patient way. He has a lot of potential and is learning quickly but he will need someone to continue going slow with him. <br/><br/>Gregory will come with a free training session to help set you u for success with him. <br/><br/>So far he's walking better on leash (he's likely never had a leash on before), does well in the crate, is getting easier to put the leash on and take it off. He did well at the vet hospital for his check up although he was nervous. Next we will be working on grooming/bathing with him to see how he does.
