Here's what the humans have to say about me:<br/><br/>Meet Grayson, the dog who is always smiling. Grayson was surrendered in North Carolina in atrocious condition (couldn't even tell he was a male). About 10 pounds and 2-4 years old. Now Grayson is groomed, neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested and had 9 teeth making him miserable pulled.<br/><br/>He is a genuinley a wonderful little dog; happy to meet everyone and everyone falls in love with him. Grayson is joyful-he is very athletic, playful and having a blast with his foster sister-he would love a playful dog in his forever home, a fenced yard would make it even better. Looking for a patient kind family to build up his confidence and make him feel secure as we still see the signs of the mistreatment such as the nervousness at being picked up. Also looking for someone who is home much of the time, he is a velcro dog that will follow you. Grayson loves, loves, loves laps. Housetrained and good with dogs of all sizes as well as cats and loves his toys and cuddles.<br/><br/>PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing or "inquiring" is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog.<br/><br/>The adoption fee is $450, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative, heartworm test if age appropriate and spay/neuter. All of our dogs will be microchipped.<br/><br/>Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to setting up any appointments. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration. APPLY AT ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG (click on the word "Adopt" at top of page to find the dropdown menu with application)<br/><br/>We are a non profit no kill 501 (c)3 rescue. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging.
