Granada is a beautiful brown and white Shih Tzu who is ready to leave her past behind and discover how wonderful life can be.

Granada came to us as a release from a Wisconsin breeding farm. She has never lived in a home, so everything about being a family dog is new to her. Right now, she is understandably shy and unsure of all the changes happening around her.

Granada isn't going to walk through the door of her new home and immediately know how to be a beloved companion. She will need time to learn that she is safe, that she has her own soft place to sleep, and that the people around her can be trusted.

Her adopter will need to be patient, gentle, and willing to let Granada adjust at her own pace. There may be some nervous moments in the beginning, but every little step forward will be something to celebrate.

Having another confident, friendly dog in the home will be very important for Granada. A canine friend can help her feel more secure and show her all the things that a happy family dog gets to do. She will also need a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore and gain confidence.

Granada has spent her life waiting for the chance to experience something different. Now it's her turn to learn about soft beds, cozy homes, gentle hands, and what it feels like to belong to someone.

She may need a little time to find her confidence, but underneath that shy exterior is a very special little girl just waiting for the opportunity to blossom.

Granada doesn't need someone to rush her. She needs someone willing to wait for her. Give her time, give her patience, and give her the safe home she has never known—and you may be amazed by the beautiful companion she becomes.

ADOPTION FEE: $750

To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION at fluffydog.net

Adopters must be 24 years of age.
