Gracie Mae's Story

Please meet Gracie Mae! This fun loving girl finds herself in search of a new home in central Massachusetts!

Gracie Mae is currently @ 2 years old and weighs about 30lbs. Her current family says that she is an excitable and affectionate girl who loves people.

Gracie Mae was purchased at a flea market down in the South. The buyer was told her mother was a Boston Terrier / Pug mix and father unknown. She was a spur of the moment purchase and the next day reality set in and her new owner knew she was not ready for a puppy. Thus, Gracie Mae was surrendered into rescue.

Gracie has been living with a family with a young child in central Massachusetts for the last 2 years, but their circumstances have changed and Gracie finds herself in search of another family to call her own.

This little one is full of herself, and thinks the entire world is her own personal playground. She awakes each morning excited and full of joy anxiously awaiting anything and everything the day has in store. She is excellent with other dogs, not food nor toy aggressive, and will make a wonderful addition to a fun loving family looking for a silly little clown to add to their family.

Gracie Mae is fully trained - she is house broken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, gets along well with cats and dogs and really loves her people. She is a lap dog and wants to be by your side 24/7. She is pretty high energy for a smaller pup, and loves to play fetch in the fenced in backyard and gives plenty of kisses.

Gracie Mae's family circumstances have changed over the last few months, and they are unable to give her the time and stability she has become accustomed to and feel it is in her best interest to be rehomed to a family who has more time to dedicate to her needs. We would love for Gracie Mae to go to a small dog experienced family who knows how to put up with "big personalities in little bodies!" Kids 10+ up are preferred due to Gracie's small size.

Is Gracie Mae the one for you? She's got her doggie bags packed and is ready to make her way home to you!

Her rehoming fee is $400! That covers all of her vetting and care up until the point of adoption.

A meet and greet can be arranged for local approved applicants!

If interested, please reach out to Brittany at Brittany.pacne@gmail.com and she will break down the adoption process for you and send you an application link!

*Paws & Claws New England, a/k/a Paws and Claws Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization made up of volunteers and fosters who devote their time and love to help save homeless dogs and cats.
