Gracie Lou's Story
Hi! My name is Gracie Lou. I am a one year old Shih Tzu mix weighing in at 14lbs.

I came from a hoarding case and was really scared when I first came to rescue. I needed lots of decompression and time. I am now the happiest, silliest girl. I love other dogs and cats. I do take some time to warm up to people because I missed out on critical socializing when I was younger. But I promise I am so worth the wait!

I do require another playful small/medium size dog in my new home. I get a lot of confidence from other dogs. I also require a physically fenced in yard. Because I’m timid at first I need space and time to warm up, so the yard allows for that. I am almost fully potty trained, I only have accidents if not let out on a strict schedule. I am food motivated so that helps me learn to like people. I need a quieter home with no kids. Someone who is home most of the time and who understands scared dogs.

I need more leash training once I trust my new human. I would love to go on adventures with my besties! I ride well in the truck with foster mommy.

Gracie Lou is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, current on heartworm preventative, and current on flea/tick preventative. If she sounds like a match for you, please please fill out an adoption application using the URL below:

Bit.ly/WHASadoptionapplication

Gracie Lou’s adoption fee is $400.

***Please note, Willow Haven Animal Sanctuary is a foster based rescue.
