Gracie's Story

Meet Grace

Approx. 2-5 years old | 65 lbs | Pit/Lab mix (best guess)

Grace is one of those dogs who settles into a home quickly and just gets it. She's house-trained, does well with other dogs, and has an easy, natural way about her that makes her a great fit for everyday life.

She enjoys being around her people and is always up for a cuddle session, but she also has a playful side - especially when it comes to keeping up (and often winning) with the other dogs. Grace is confident, social, and brings a lot of personality without being overwhelming.

One of her more charming quirks? She'll greet you with a happy little "concert" when she comes back inside or wants your attention. It's her way of checking in - and it's hard not to smile when she does it.

Grace came to us after being left behind when her previous family moved away, but she hasn't let that experience change how she feels about people. She's still trusting, still loyal, and still ready to be part of a home again.

Grace is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment, which is fully covered by the rescue. Our team will guide her adopter through the process and provide support along the way. She's doing well and taking it all in stride.

If you're looking for a dog who can settle in, connect quickly, and be a steady, easy presence in your home, Grace is one to meet.

Apply here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HAUS/Dog
