Thank you to everyone who shared, supported, and helped her get her second chance.<br/><br/>Gracie was found alongside her brother as a stray in the middle of nowhere in Georgia. Despite her rough start, she has already shown just how loving, playful, and resilient she is. Thanks to Mutt Life Dog Rescue, she was able to make the trip to Cedarburg, WI, where she is now safe and beginning her new chapter.<br/><br/>Gracie is a 3-month-old Lab/Boxer mix with a friendly, typical puppy personality who enjoys being around people. She is curious, energetic, and eager to learn as she continues working on all the puppy basics.<br/>She is:<br/><br/>• 3 months old<br/>• Female<br/>• 10 lbs<br/>• Lab/Boxer mix (best guess)<br/>• Not yet spayed<br/>• Working on potty training<br/>• Working on crate training<br/>• Working on leash manners<br/>• Good with dogs<br/>• Good with cats with proper introduction<br/>• Good with kids<br/><br/>Gracie is currently settling into foster care and enjoying the safety and comfort she deserves.<br/>If you are interested in adopting Gracie, please apply today:<br/><br/>https://www.muttlife.org<br/>__________<br/><br/>Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up-to-date dewormer, vaccinations, heartworm prevention (age appropriate), and certified veterinarian inspection within 30 days of adoption. <br/>__________<br/><br/>Review adoption requirements and ensure you meet the necessary criteria to apply!<br/><br/>https://www.muttlife.org/adoption-policies<br/>_________<br/><br/>ADOPTION PROCESS:<br/>1.) Apply: Fill out an adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents.<br/><br/>2.) Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.<br/><br/>3.) Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit.<br/><br/>4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.<br/><br/>5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.<br/><br/>6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI, or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $125 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old.<br/><br/>**Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
