Grace's Story

Grace is a stunning husky mix around 2 years old with the softest soul to match her beautiful looks. She’s the kind of dog you feel before you even really know her—gentle, loving, and always wanting to be close to her people. When she trusts you, she becomes your little shadow, quietly following along and checking in to make sure she’s right where she belongs.

At home, Grace is easy and cozy. If she’s not de-stuffing her favorite toy of the day, she’s curled up on the couch napping. She’s fully house trained and will politely hover by the door when she needs to go out. She does great being left out of a crate, though crate training is still a work in progress (she has a few opinions about it and isn’t shy about sharing them). She loves attention—but on her terms—and when she’s in the mood, she’ll happily soak up all the pets and cuddles.

She’s been doing really well on outings, especially when she has someone she knows by her side. Grace likes to stay close and checking in often. Other dogs help boost her confidence, and she gets along well with them—even if her version of play includes some classic husky-style “talking.” She’s also good with cats, though she sometimes wishes they were a little more interested in playing with her.

Grace is smart and already responds really well to training clickers—she just needs someone willing to keep building on that and helping her grow. She’s a little sensitive, a little goofy, a little dramatic in the cutest way—and so full of love. All she needs is a patient home to help her keep gaining confidence. In return, you’ll get loyalty, snuggles, and the sweetest companion
