The first week in her foster home, Goya was terrified of normal household items like the vacuum, broom, mop or the sound of a blender... if you opened and closed a door too loudly she would cower and run, but with some patience and turning everything into fun, this little lady has blossomed and conquered those fears and has no issues with them anymore!<br/><br/>Goya does need more leash training as she is now play motivated and tends to pull and certain things still do frighten her on walks, so double leashing is 100 percent necessary when out. <br/><br/>Goya is a fun girl through, even with the nervousness, she really loves to learn and has no issues playing with big dogs so a playmate for her would be fine (probably not an older dog as she really does love to play a lot). Children are also fine as long as they are introduced properly Goya is great with them.<br/><br/>A securely fenced backyard is needed and no condos or apartments for her. She would do well with an active family who could take her on walks, runs and adventures. She is house trained, crate trained and a lot of fun to be around.<br/><br/>If you feel you would be the right fit for Goya, please fill out an adoption application at www.allpawsmatter.ca\<br/>All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heartworm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety.<br/><br/>BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters.
