Gordo's Story

Gordo is a 3 month old, 9 lb male Chihuahua/Border Terrier mixed breed.

Gordo is currently located in South Texas and will be transported to his new home.

This chunky guy is aptly named Gordo, as he is the biggest of the litter. He is almost the same size as his momma! Gordo and his 3 littermates share the same foster home, so there is fun and chaos all around. At home he is playful and adventurous, but outside he is a bit on the shy side. No doubt that will change as he grows and experiences more of the good life that hopefully waits out there for this little tubby dude. Gordo is crate trained and remains safely at home in his playpen, using potty pads and also learning to potty outdoors. He is too young to venture out on a leash yet though, but this smart cookie should learn some leash manners quickly once he I can safely venture outdoors. Gordo enjoys running and chewing on toys, and playing with his siblings. A patient older doggy sibling would be a great mentor to this little guy. Ask to meet Gordo today, and see if he is the right addition to your family! (Note: Gordo is not yet neutered but will be prior to transport).

Our organization only adopts within the United States and Canada.

Faith and Hope is an established rescue group based in Texas but delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others, with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $800 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies) spay/neuter, microchip and transportation fees.

If interested in learning more, please email us at faithandhopeadoptions@gmail.com or fill out our online application.

https://www.faithandhopefoundation.org/adoptionapp

If interested in learning more about our adoptable pets, the adoption process, or our home based foster program, please contact us at the above email.

Due to the number of requests that we receive on our adoptable pets, please be advised that all adoption applications are processed in the order received.
