Gorby

Gorby is a 10-year-old Shih Tzu mix who came to the shelter in very poor condition, with his hair completely matted and in desperate need of care. Since then, he has been groomed, cleaned up, and is feeling so much better.<br/><br/>While receiving veterinary care, it was discovered that Gorby has a stage 3 heart murmur, and he also needed some dental extractions to help him feel more comfortable. Despite everything he has been through, Gorby remains a sweet little gentleman who is ready for a fresh start.<br/><br/>He appears to be potty trained and enjoys the simple comforts in life — especially being pet and receiving plenty of butt scratches.<br/><br/>We are still getting to know Gorby, so we are unsure how he feels about other dogs, cats, or children at this time.<br/><br/>Gorby deserves a soft bed, kind hands, and a home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by love.
