Goose's Story

Born Nov. 11, 2025, in a back yard. Rescued Feb. 20, so just 3 months old. & first vet visit. They are a little underweight, so we can guess they will be 30-40 lbs. Mama is 35 lb. She is husky, border collie. Daddy may be lab. Gildey is the only girl, one was named Goose because he was a silly goose, so we named this liter after birds! Galapagos, Gully, & Golden. They now weigh 6-8 lbs. They are shy w/this big change, leaving mom & going to 3 foster families. Playful, silly, gentle, curious & give kisses & show waggie tails now! Watch for new pictures on Love Mutts Rescue Facebook, from the fosters..& meet at events! Apply on www.lovemuttsrescue.org Their adoption fee is lowest this first 2 weeks & includes bonuses w/ the microchip. We do ask a $100 deposit to be returned when spay/neutered after 6 months old. We dont know about house training. We think this is all new for them! Mom is pictured..Gramma is black/white border collie w/thick fur.

Love Mutts Rescue, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

Adoption Methods: FOSTER TO ADOPT: · This method of adoption gives you a 2 week trial period with a pet to see if they are the right fit. This does not apply to puppies and kittens. During that time, the pet remains the property of the rescue. After the two week time period, the pet will be considered adopted and the rescue will no longer be responsible for vetting. Finalizing is a matter of filling out a few paperwork items with you to register your pet’s microchip and such. · The full adoption fee is due before taking the pet home. If it does not work out, we refund the fee less $50. This $50 can be applied towards another pet or is tax deductible as a donation. FULL ADOPTION: · With this method there is no trial period. The pet will officially become yours the day you take them home. If the adoption doesn’t work out you are to return the pet to us versus trying to re-home them. There is no refund if you decide to return the pet. MEETING OUR DOGS & CATS: · Our rescue is foster based so our pets are in foster homes throughout the Triangle area. With an approved application, you may schedule a meet and greet appointment to meet a specific pet. Our pets can also be met at weekend adoption events.
