Goose's Story

🪿Goose is still waiting for you to adopt her!🪿

Goose is guesstimated to be around 2 years old. She is very much a puppy. She has been doing great in her foster home, however we have some updates! We are looking for a new foster home or adopter for our sweet fluff ball.

🐈‍⬛Goose has started chasing the two cats in the home, so we think she may do best without them. She doesn’t try hurting them, but we of course don’t want to stress the resident felines out, so her foster mom is keeping everyone separate.

🐕Goose loves wrestling and playing with other big dogs at doggy daycare. We think she would absolutely thrive in a home with other playful dogs. She has been in a home with small dogs before, but to my knowledge they never played with her. Her foster home adopted a puppy and she doesn’t know how to adjust her play to be careful with unsure pups, so a confident small dog that gives corrections would be best. And she had only had good interactions with bigger dogs.

📦Goose gets bored when left alone and has torn up some paper items like boxes and cardboard tubes. She typically has access to a singular room in the home along with doggy daycare, since her foster mom works long hours.

🚗She love car rides. It’s a bit scary getting into the car but she does great when she’s in!

👥She’s got some nerves when meeting new people. It’s best to sit and let her come up to you. And treats are a bonus. Once she can trust you, she loves you for life. She definitely reads people and if a big girl is intimidating to you, she will pick up that you aren’t interested and will keep her distance. If you are excited and are willing to go a little slower at first, she warms up faster!

👧🧒Goose has done well with kiddos! She does jump up for hugs but she does great with kiddos who are able to keep themselves stable if she rushes past them. She had a meet and greet with a family that had a 1-year old and a 3 month old and Goose was very gentle with them both. The 1-year old had been sitting on the ground when she and the resident dog had rushed in the front door and Goose made sure to stop and lift her paws up to avoid the baby.

💋Goose’s eyeliner is still some of the best we’ve ever seen. Period.💁‍♀️
