Goose's Story

- Most gentle, perfect boy who can be shy at first, but is SO sweet once he knows you!

- Will lean into you with his whole body to get pets

- Loves to cuddle a lot, and he'll often fall asleep in his dog bed when he's spending time in our Activity Center

- More interested in cuddling than toys, but he will sometimes get the zoomies for a few minutes before he's back wanting to cuddle

- Can be independent, but also loves to be around people

- Knows sit, stay and down; loves treats and takes them so kindly by just opening his mouth

- Loves going on walks and does best with a harness

- Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for him (mature home recommended)

- Tends to be socially awkward with other dogs, but enjoys spending time with dogs who have a similar play style (dog intro recommended)

This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. If you're interested in fostering to adopt, please reach out to meetme@arl-iowa.org.

The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs.
