A few months ago my dad took his life, and since then things have been extremely difficult emotionally and financially. I’ve also recently taken a pay cut, and I’m no longer able to give Goose the care and stability he deserves.<br/><br/>I want to make sure he goes to the right person or family that understands high-energy, attention-loving breeds and can give him the time and activity he needs.<br/><br/>Goose is:<br/>* 16 months old <br/>• Neutered<br/>• Around 50 lbs<br/>• Up to date on all vaccinations<br/>• Microchipped<br/><br/>He does great with other dogs and is used to daycare settings where he regularly played with dogs of all sizes. He has also lived around cats and has been around friends’ cats — he mostly ignores them or just sniffs them without much interest.<br/><br/>He has never jumped a fence.<br/><br/>Goose has unfortunately been attacked twice by other dogs while out on walks, and because of that he has developed some leash reactivity. I’ve been working with him on training and it’s manageable, but I want to be honest about it.<br/><br/>Outside of that, he is an incredibly happy, loving dog. He absolutely adores people and wants to meet everyone he sees. He’s been around kids of all ages and does well, though he can get overly excited and jump because he has a lot of energy and enthusiasm.<br/><br/>He truly is a great dog and this decision is being made because I want what’s best for him <br/><br/>Please contract. 316-737-7170<br/>To meet Goose <br/>Adoption fee will be discussed.
