MUST LIVE IN ROCHESTER, NY AREA TO ADOPT and have a physically fenced in yard for her to safely run and play in as she is not yet good on leash. Coming from a puppy mill another companion dog for her to continue to learn from and help adjust to new home is also needed.

Goldie is a six year-old Golden Doodle who has spent her entire life as a puppy mill mamma. With patience and further training, Goldie will be a fantastic addition to a loving household.
Goldie weighs about 45 lbs and gets along with dogs of all sizes. She is not cat tested but would probably be fine. She is discovering how to play with toys and does well on shorter walks. Her favorite thing is being pet behind her ears. Would be fine with kids 6 or older but no toddlers as she would most likely knock them down.
Goldie is looking for a home that can give her lots of affection and has a fenced yard for her to run around it.

She will be going to their adoptive home under a foster to adopt contract until her spay is complete. You would be required to get her to our vet clinic for 7:30 am date TBD, in Rochester and then pick up (3 to 4 pm) from rescue to finalize adoption at that time. For this reason we will not adopt to anyone outside our immediate adoption area. We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally, if fencing is required it must be a physical fence and in place at time of home visit.
