Goldberry's Story

Meet Miss Goldberry! She is 12 pounds of opinions, fluff, and absolute main character energy.

Goldberry is about 8 years old, and yes, she knows she is gorgeous. She was found on the streets and taken in by a kind unhoused person who did their best for her until a volunteer brought her into rescue. When she arrived she had a heavy flea infestation and pretty irritated skin, but that's all behind her now. Her coat is growing back in and she is very invested in the process, as she should be, because Goldberry is not just any dog...she is a diva.

She has a little attitude. She will side-eye you. She will decide things. And she will absolutely expect you to respect those decisions. But she is also so cute that you forgive her for basically everything immediately.

She is playful, spunky, and still very much acts like a younger dog. Squeaky toys are her passion. She will chase them, toss them, and generally lose her mind over them in the best way. Treats are also appreciated, though tricks are still a work in progress. She's more "do I have to" than "yes ma'am" when it comes to training, but she's food motivated enough to try.

With other dogs, she does well and enjoys playtime. With people, she really likes attention and prefers to be where her person is. She would do best in a home where someone is around more often than not, because Goldberry does not believe in being ignored.

Underneath all the attitude, she is sweet, social, and very fun to be around! She just comes with personality, and honestly, that's part of the appeal. Goldberry isn't looking for a home that wants a background character she's looking for someone who is ready to live with a tiny diva who runs the show and looks cute doing it!
