VIP: Goalie is about 2 years of age. He is a smart boy who knows the command to sit and walks well on a leash. He likes to play with balls. Goalie went on a group dog walk to a park along with other dogs from the shelter and did great around the other dogs and was very friendly. His owner had told us that Goalie is playful with children but may be too much for little ones but on the walk, he got to meet a man and his toddler in a stroller on the walk, and did great and licked the toddler's hand gently. When he sits, he lays and wants tummy rubs. Goalie also visited a local fire station along with other dog and did great! He needed help to get into the car, but got out of it with ease. He did great with the other dogs on the visit too. Goalie was very friendly with everyone and sat to get harnessed. He is treat motivated and was easygoing with everything at the station. Even in close quarters, he has manners. Goalie will make a great companion for anyone! <br/><br/>Adopted animals are not able to go to their new home until spay and neuter surgery has been done. <br/>Adoptions are first come first serve, and no appointment or application is needed.
