Glinda, Friendly Girl

Glinda came to our shelter after she was found running around with another small dog in town. Glinda is definitely a young girl who we believe is around 1.5 years old. We think she is a Mini Poodle mix of some type, and it is clear she has not been properly groomed in some time. Glinda is very outgoing and playful! She is a very happy girl who loves to run around our backyard. Glinda is fine being picked up and she eats dry food without having to mix anything into it. We are looking for an adopter who has experience owning dogs that need regular, professional grooming and can afford this extra expense. She is fine with other dogs and she can go to a home with children 10 years old and older. The other dog who came in with Glinda is now named Elphaba, and we think she is a small Terrier mix. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.<br/>Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal.<br/><br/>An approved application does not guarantee an adoption.
