Meet Glacier in OH - Inquisitive & Adorable!

The Polar Vortex Litter says: “bring on Spring, but we can handle the cold too!” January 15—an extremely cold day--Holly Grace gave birth to 8 adorable Pyrenees puppies: 4 boys- Glacier, Blizzard, Polar, Arctic, and 4 girls-Flurry, Wynter, Frostine, and Tundra and they are ready to find their forever homes! Glacier is an inquisitive little guy with mussy hair that makes him look like a little “grandpa head” at times! He has always been the one to follow his foster mom, sitting and watching patiently to see what is next. His eyes look at his person with pure love and adoration always ready to give puppy kisses when given the chance! He enjoys joining in with his siblings, wrestling and playing a good game of tag and then jumping on the pile to take a good nap! Glacier will need a home with a secure fenced yard and a canine sister to teach him the ropes to become the best Pyr boy ever! PYRents with large breed experience too please. These kids are having fun being babies, but are also learning manners from their mama, and have quickly learned to use the doggie door to go outside for potties! They are being raised in a home with mama, other dogs, and kitties who they are quite interested in. They love all people, big and small. To learn more about Glacier and his siblings, put in an application today!

Due to the high level of interest we can't respond to emails unless an application has been submitted.

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
