This sweet boy is full of personality—funny, playful, and completely devoted to snuggling up next to you on the couch. <br/><br/>He loves playing with his toys and enjoys his beauty sleep, perfectly embodying the relaxed charm of a typical French Bulldog. Gizmo is very sweet and genuinely happy to meet new faces, making him a delightful companion for visitors. <br/><br/>Gizmo is doing well with house-training, having only had a couple of accidents as he adjusts to his new surroundings. Keeping him on a schedule in this new environment will be helpful. He is also crate-trained but appreciates frequent outdoor breaks to explore. <br/><br/>As Gizmo is deaf, his foster mom has been using hand signals to communicate with him. He has undergone a total ear ablation due to severe infections, along with nare and soft palate surgery. While he is still a loud breather and, like a typical Bulldog, intolerant to heat, air conditioning is a must for him. Due to nerve damage in his ears, Gizmo is unable to blink on his own and requires daily eye drops. As he continues to heal, theres a possibility he may regain the ability to blink, but its uncertain. He is also on a journey to lose a few pounds to become the healthiest version of himself! <br/><br/>Gizmo has seamlessly integrated with the three dogs in his foster home, acting as if hes always been part of the family. Hes also shown friendly curiosity toward the resident cats. <br/><br/>True to his breed, Gizmo has short bursts of playful energy followed by cozy naps, perfectly balancing playtime with relaxation! <br/><br/>The ideal home for Gizmo would be with someone who has knowledge and experience with the French Bulldog breed. He would thrive in a household with other pets or even as the only dog, provided he has companionship. <br/><br/>Despite overcoming his health challenges, Gizmo remains the happiest, most loving little dog.
