Girlie Pit Bull Terrier & American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Snyder, TX

Hello, my name is Girlie! I am about 2 years old, and I’ve been a mama before, but I am now spayed – yay! From what my foster mom and rescue knows, I spent most of my young life hanging out with other four-legged friends, running around outside, but I’d never been inside and based on my initial shyness, they are not certain if maybe I may have a bit of abuse in my background. To meet me is to let me have my space, observe you for a bit, and then I’ll come greet you. My foster mom decided it was time for me to teach me house life and spoiling. I like being outdoors, playing catch and taking walks (I hear about these things called hikes, and they sound great!). Mom says I also do well beside her when she goes for runs. Once I know other dogs are friendly, Dad said that I can play pretty rough and tumble, so bring on the wrestling partners! I’d be ok without other dogs too, so don’t feel like I NEED that companionship. I need you. My foster has worked with me to not let noises of cars, people, and kids bother me, and she makes sure to use positive encouragement when I need help. I’m a little bit tender hearted, so that positive encouragement and happy voices really matter to me. I sleep in my crate at night and take naps during the day when both parents are gone. I am fully potty trained and will come when you call me. Once I know you’re awesome, I’m a pretty good cuddler, and my goofball side comes through. My foster mom and rescue do agree that it probably wouldn’t be good for me to be in a home with small, young children, but teenagers would probably be fine. Our dogs are fostered in West Texas. The adoption fee locally is $225. This fee includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, a registered microchip, a negative heart worm test, flea/tick monthly preventative and any other necessary vetting. The adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Face time, etc) or will be done in person with the dog's foster prior to adoption.
