GINGER- Needs a foster/forever home! Labrador Retriever & Terrier Mix Birmingham, MI

Gorgeous Ginger is a 3 year old Lab mix who was rescued from an unhealthy situation. She was named after gingerbread cookies because of her color. She has white frosting on her chest and toes, and she is as sweet! She was very shy and unsure of anything when she first came into the rescue. She has become confident and assertive. She would like tons of love and she loves to give lots of love. Ginger is a big hugger. She also likes to dance on her hind legs. She’s slim and strong, a fast runner, and a great walker. She’s smart and inquisitive. In training, she learns quickly. Ginger was recently diagnosed with seizures which she is on medication for. She lives with other dogs in her foster home but she is dog selective. She loves to be with her sister Athena. NO CATS!!!. She would make a great companion dog. Children 10 years old or older. Her forever home is required to have a totally enclosed physically fenced yard. Ginger is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, on monthly heartworm preventative as well as house and crate trained. Ginger cannot wait to become a member of a very loving family who will take her on adventures, love her and treat her like a queen!!

All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. A home visit is required to ensure our dogs go to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs 1 year and older to attend 1 obedience class (class is a 6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. No out of state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Ginger's adoption fee is $300.
