Ginger's Story

Ginger is anAustralian Shepherd puppy who was born at the end of November. She is definitely ALL Aussie. She's sweet, she's loyal, she's smart, she has a seemingly endless supply of energy, and of course she wants to herd things.

Her ideal home will let her utilize all those herding dog instincts and energy in a productive way by providing plenty of stimulation and exercise opportunities. Experience with working breeds would definitely be a plus but isn't necessarily a requirement. A nice big yard would also be wonderful for her.

Ginger gets along well with other dogs as long as they don't mind that she'll try and herd them. She hasn't met any cats while in her foster home. She's also good with older children. She gets along great with the 10 year old child she's been hanging out with in her foster home but she hasn't yet had experience with younger children.

Ginger is already crate trained and working on house training every day. She hasn't quite learned to signal every time she needs to go out but she is great about making sure she uses puppy pads if she's inside when she needs to go.

If you're looking for a high energy young dog who will herd your imaginary flock of sheep, Ginger may be right for you!

Ginger's adoption fee is $700! This adoption fee includes: her alter, a microchip, her rabies, bordetella, and age appropriate DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.

If you think she may be perfect for you, please apply using the link below!

https://www.cognitoforms.com/NorthPawRescue/NorthPawRescueDogAdoptionApplication

**Unfortunately, we cannot adopt out to Canada at this time.

**We require a 60 minute adoption radius.
