Gilbert #2 Black Labrador Retriever Mix Killingworth, CT

Gilbert #2 is a 9-year-old lab mix weighing approximately 50 lbs. He is a sweet boy who loves people and has been friendly to everyone he has met. Gilbert is a cuddle bug and loves to curl up and cuddle near you. And, if he can be under the blankets, he’s very happy. Gilbert will thrive in a home where he can be the only pet as he likes his toys and food for himself. Gilbert is crate trained and goes in his crate without a problem. He walks well on a leash, rides well in a car and has learned some commands but could use continued training. Gilbert loves toys and bones and will often play with one by himself on the couch or in his crate. If you are looking for a quiet, mellow senior, then Gilbert is your guy!

To expedite the process, please follow the step-by-step instructions outlined and submit an adoption application listing 3-5 dogs of interest. ADOPTION FEES: $395 non-refundable adoption fee for all vet expenses (spay/neuter, shots, etc.) and transportation to ensure your lab gets to you in a safe, professional manner. All fees may be paid using PayPal, cashier's checks, or money orders. Labs4rescue does not accept personal checks for adoption fees. All adopters must pay their Labs4rescue adoption fee prior to the rescue shipping their dog.

Residents of Massachusetts or New Hampshire are required to pay an additional $125 fee, which defrays the cost of their state's mandatory 48 hour isolation and examination by a licensed veterinarian.
