We believe he likely spent most, if not all, of his life living outdoors, so being in a home and experiencing normal family life is still very new to him.<br/><br/>Giblet is a calm, gentle dog. He can be shy at first, but he is very sweet and is slowly learning that people can be trusted. He walks well on a leash and has a quiet, easygoing personality.<br/><br/>Giblet came to us with a problem with one of his eyes, and it ultimately needed to be removed. He is now missing one eye, but it doesn't slow him down or seem to bother him at all.<br/><br/>Because Giblet hasn't had much experience living in a home, he will need an adopter who understands that some things may take time. He is learning about soft beds, routines, affection, and all of the everyday things that most dogs have known their entire lives.<br/><br/>He isn't the kind of dog who is going to walk into a new home and immediately act like he's always been there. He will need a little patience while he settles in and gets comfortable. In return, you'll get a very sweet, calm dog who deserves the chance to finally know what it is like to be someone's beloved companion.<br/><br/>Giblet has already come a long way, and we think he will continue to blossom in the right home.<br/><br/>ADOPTION FEE: $750<br/><br/>To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION at fluffydog.net<br/><br/>Adopters must be 24 years of age. We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and parts of MN. We do not guarantee dog breeds.<br/>WI License #270548.
