Georgina is an approximately 2-to-3-year-old Bulldog mix with a heart full of love and just the right amount of sass. At around 40 pounds, she is still working on gaining back the weight she lost and continues to make wonderful progress every day.<br/><br/>Her journey to Pits & Pals began because of an unhoused man who found her suffering on the streets and refused to leave her behind. Even though he had very little himself, he did everything he could to keep her safe until she could receive the care she desperately needed.<br/><br/>When Georgina came into our care, she was severely underweight and had wounds along one side of her body that were consistent with significant trauma. She also has what appear to be scars from a previous cesarean section, suggesting she has endured more than any dog ever should.<br/><br/>Despite everything she has been through, Georgina is incredibly sweet. She is potty trained, crate trained, dog friendly, and has a playful, sassy personality that shines more each day. Watching her heal, gain confidence, and realize that she is finally safe has been an absolute joy.<br/><br/>Now, Georgina is officially adoptable and ready to begin searching for the forever family she has always deserved!
