Georgie's Story
Meet Georgie!

Georgie is a gentle old soul who was found wandering in southern Ohio, and now he’s ready to spend his golden years somewhere safe, quiet, and full of love.

This 12-year-old Poodle boy may be a senior, but he still has so much heart to give. Georgie is blind, which means the world can feel a little overwhelming at times—but once he learns his surroundings, he settles in and finds comfort in routine. He’s a quiet, independent little guy who truly just wants a peaceful place to call home.

Georgie can be timid when meeting new people and may nip if he’s startled or unsure, so he’ll need a patient adopter who understands his needs and will give him the time and space to feel secure. Because of this, a home without young children is best.

He does well with other dogs and cats, and would likely enjoy the calm companionship of another mellow pet. Georgie is both crate trained and potty trained, and while he’s not leash-trained, he prefers the comfort of a secure, fenced yard where he can safely explore.

This sweet “old man” is the definition of a couch potato—he’s happiest lounging nearby, soaking up the peace and quiet of home life. He doesn’t need much… just a soft place to land, a steady routine, and someone willing to love him exactly as he is.

Georgie’s ideal home:
• Quiet, low-traffic environment
• Patient and understanding adopter
• No young children
• Fenced yard required
• Calm companion animals welcome

Georgie has been through a lot, and now he deserves nothing more than comfort, kindness, and a forever home to live out his days surrounded by love.

Georgie is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, micro chipped, and is on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

His adoption fee is $125

Please follow the link below for the adoption application.
