Meet GEORGIA LIBERTY, named after one of the best states in the USA. Georgia is house trained, crate trained and sits nicely for her treats. She will even give you her paw to shake as well. She is a fully grow, nice medium size,

GEORGIA would be a great addition to a loving family that enjoys cuddles from their canine. While she sleeps well in her crate at night, she is happiest when she is allowed to crawl under the covers and sleep with her 14 year old human foster sister.

She also has yet to meet a recliner that she doesn’t like…and if it comes with a human in it to snuggle, well, that is even better!

Now, we do not want to give you the wrong idea about Georgia. While she loves to cuddle and snuggle, she also has some energy and will get her zoomies out when needed. She is also very happy to go on long walks or hikes and explore the trails, and she is always down for a car ride as well. One of her favorite activities is to ride along to get her human foster sister from school in the afternoons.

Other loves for Georgia…..FOOD! She gets very excited around meal time and as soon as she sees her bowl, she runs and waits patiently for her food in her crate like a good girl. Because she is so food motivated, she would be easily trainable with treats in other obedience commands. If you look at the dress up pics in her profile, you will see that she is happy to wear a tutu and a headband for treats, lol.

Currently, she Is fostered in a home with a 14 year old teenager and 5 other dogs, ranging from 7 pounds to 65 pounds. While she has gotten along with most of them in the home, we do recommend that she goes to a home without other dogs. Georgia has a tendency to play rough in the yard and can match high intensity from other dogs.

As mentioned before, Georgia loves all people. She has a teen in her foster home and enjoys spending time with her. She is also crazy about her foster dad’s ear scratches and petting which is why she navigates herself every chance she gets to his recliner for “Daddy love”. We wouldn’t recommend Georgia for a home with young children just because of her exuberance of wanting to jump to give hugs and kisses and her ability in that exuberance to knock a child down.

If Georgia sounds like a good fit for your household, we would be happy to set up a meet and greet.

Georgia has an estimated DOB of 7/14/19 and is believed to be a
Lab Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier mix. She weighed 58 pounds at her last vet visit.
