Meet Georgia

This is Georgia! This pup was recently rescued from a high kill shelter in SC. Sweet GEORGIA was brought to the shelter by animal control after being chained up outside and being abandoned by her owner. She was understandably quite scared after the ordeal she had been through but warmed up to the shelter staff in no time at all. Georgia is preparing to leave the shelter and head to PA very soon. She is expected to arrive on January 30th. The shelter staff describe Georgia as follows: She is the funniest little compact cutie pie and we simply could not get enough of her sweet silliness during photo time. Georgia was a little shy in getting her out of her kennel, doing lots of laps around her igloo, but once in the front play area, she was able to relax and really dig in and get in on the fun. We had her out for a whopping 3 HOURS and she was excellent in meeting a myriad of dogs, both male and female with a variety of energy and personality types. Aged at 10 months, Georgia is a polite little lady who is great on the leash. She can still have some shy moments to her but, over time, her confidence kept growing and growing. She was following us from pen to pen as we matched up different dogs for dog tests and insisted she not be left behind. She also won the award for best photo bomber, effortlessly and easily slipping into lots of photos, simply inviting herself to be part of the action. A dog doesn't get much cuter than Georgia.
She will make a wonderful addition to someone's family!! Georgia weighs about 30-35 pounds, is spayed, micro-chipped and current with vaccines. Georgia recently tested negative for heart-worm disease and she is on preventatives. She is listed as a Heeler (Cattle Dog) mix but only a DNA will reveal her true breed make up. If you would like to foster or adopt, or foster, Georgia when she arrives on Jan. 30th, please submit the adoption application through our website OneLifeToLiveRescue.com today! A rescue volunteer will then be in touch quickly to answer any questions that you might have and to tell you about our "Foster-to-Adopt" option. Georgia's suggested adoption donation is $350 in order to help recover some of the cost of rescue's vet bills. Thank you for considering a beautiful, rescued Cattle Dog mix girl!! DON'T DELAY...APPLY TODAY! Our sweet Georgia was adopted by her "Foster-to-Adopt" dad today! She will now be spending the "happily-ever-after" part of her life in North Scranton, PA!!

PLEASE READ: If you are serious about adopting or fostering one of our dogs or puppies, you must first complete and submit an adoption application on our website at www.OneLifeToLiveRescue.com.. The application is ALWAYS the first step in our adoption process. Please do not contact us through pet finder or emails us since that will only be a waste of our time and yours. Much care is taken to include as much information on each dog or puppy as we have on-hand at the time the dogs are posted. Dogs who have adoptions scheduled are marked as "pending" and we will not be taking any applications on those dogs.
We will not adopt a dog to you if all of your current pets are not spayed/neutered. This is a non-negotiable policy. All cats and dogs MUST be up-to-date with their rabies vaccinations, including indoor only cats.

We are trying to strictly follow all suggested safety precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic. All recommendations will be respected with as limited person-to-person contact as allowed. Masks are again required at this time during any and all interaction with others.. We promise to do our best to keep everyone safe while helping our dogs find loving homes during these trying times.
