George's Story

Meet our one-eyed George!
George came from North Central Shelter, where he was sadly placed on the euthanasia list due to his untreated eye. He was surrendered without proper care, but this sweet 7-year-old is now ready for his happy forever home. We rescued him and provided medical care he needed, but one eye does not limit him at all!
Also, don't let his age fool you, George is loving, gentle, and calm, yet he absolutely adores people and loves running and playing. He gets along well with other dogs and cats, but is also perfectly content being on his own. George is very much a people’s dog and forms strong bonds with his person quickly.
He is currently in foster care with a busy foster mom and does great on his own during the day. George was recently neutered, and we’re helping him fine-tune his potty training, he’s learning fast! He’s also wonderful in the car and would make a perfect companion for someone looking for a small, affectionate dog to share their life and adventures with.
We truly adore George and can’t wait for him to find the loving home he deserves.
