George's Story

GEORGE, is a handsome boy! Take a look at his video! He walks like a champ on a leash, head up, tail flying high, his happy and affectionate nature shining through. George is polite and non-reactive when encountering other people and animals. George was saved at the last minute from the PG County MD Animal Shelter’s euthanasia list. George went from the shelter to a board/train to work on his resource guarding and impulse control issues. George completed his training and has been in boarding since, patiently waiting for a foster or adopter.

George has come a long way since leaving the shelter - getting healthy and putting on weight, learning manners, and gaining confidence. Even in the shelter, George was sweet, playful and hopeful but George does have resource guarding issues so he needs to be an only dog. Take a look at his shelter video to see how far he has come –Reel https://www.instagram.com/reel/DE3iH9rxsR7/?igsh=MWR2YW4yMng0Z2Jq.

George is still hoping for his forever home. If you're ready for a loyal companion to brighten your life, George is waiting for you!

If you need more information or are interested in adopting or fostering George, please send a text message to MVAR at 703-624-8823.
