Our Mission
Mount Vernon Animal Rescue (MVAR) is dedicated to advancing animal welfare through reducing homelessness, providing veterinarian care to animals in need, and assisting wildlife rehabilitators with injured or orphaned wildlife.
Adoption Policy
Potential adopters fill our an adoption application. They are then vetted by a video phone interview and references are often checked. Usually a potential adopter can visit the animal they're interested in at the foster's home. We also participate with other groups at adoption events.
